Extra Curricular Clubs 2026-27 INFANTS
Lightwater Village Infant School is host to a variety of after school clubs, extending learning and activities beyond the formal school hours. Each club is run by a provider who uses the schools facilities for the venue. Clubs generally run for approximately 10 weeks, excluding half term and Inset Days.
Full information and details on how to book our Summer term 2026 clubs can be found within the information provided below. As spaces are limited, please do book early to avoid disappointment.
Pupils eligible for Pupil Premium Funding will be supported to attend a club of their choice. For more information, please contact our Family Support Adviser.

Our after-school club is the perfect place for young athletes to develop key sports-specific skills while having tons of fun! Designed for children of all abilities, we focus on introducing the fundamentals of different sports in an engaging, supportive, and active environment. Our experienced coaches ensure every session promotes teamwork, confidence, and physical development, all while making sure the children enjoy every moment. Whether they’re mastering a new skill or playing exciting games, our goal is to inspire a lifelong love for sports and movement.

Playball
3pm to 3.45pm

Playball is a is a multi-sports programme that teaches life skills to children through sport and movement. Our progressive curriculum is designed and researched by Occupational Therapists and Sports Scientists, and is constantly being updated in line with the latest trends and findings. At Playball the children are in small class sizes and participate in games and skills that cover 8 sports; Football, Tennis, Rugby, Hockey, Baseball, Volleyball, Cricket and Basketball.

Acrobatics is a unique blend of dancing and gymnastic disciplines which has become very popular over recent years. At Elibah School of Dance they follow the Acrobatic Arts Syllabi which has five main focus areas: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. If your Reception or Year 1 child likes to throw themselves around on the floor but needs more control and balance or if your child would like to improve their flexibility, then this club is for them!

Boogie Pumps - Musical Theatre - Fridays - 3pm to 4pm

Does your child love to dance, sing and act? Then Boogie Pumps musical theatre club is the perfect class for you! Each session the students will work work on their dance, drama and singing skills, developing performance pieces to their favourite musicals!
Fridays:
Rock Steady - Fridays Mornings during the School day
First session 4th September
Band lessons take place in school and there’s no experience necessary! All instruments for lessons provided. Choose if they shine on vocals, keyboard, drums, guitar or bass. Rocksteady band leaders are highly trained musicians who make learning an instrument fun.
Watch as your child boosts their confidence by performing in the end of term concerts
