Take the opportunity to see for yourself and come to our open mornings on June 26 and 27 from 10.30am to 11.30am for an informal tour.

The school has introduced a well-being lessons to help students with special needs or disabilities and weekly yoga and mindfulness are offered to help with issues including anxiety.

“The wide and varied curriculum is a strength of the school. The breadth and balance of subjects taught is good and provides pupils with opportunities to learn in a variety of ways,” said the inspector.

Music is highlighted with its teaching being a ‘notable strength’ and all pupils have the chance to play a range of instruments and say they thoroughly enjoy the chances.

“Leaders have ensure that subjects are not taught in isolation and that there are opportunities to practise skills across the curriculum. For example, learning in mathematics is applied in science and design and technology lessons,” said the report.

“In addition there are many extra-curricular activities available to pupils ranging from sports clubs, such as lacrosse and ultimate frisbee, to drama and robotics clubs. These are well-attended and appreciated by pupils,” said the report.
