Visits and Visitors

Our creative curriculum is enhanced by the use of visits and visitors. Children make sense of their learning through practical experience and visits outside of school, or workshops within school, strengthen this.

We are sure you are aware that all persons having unsupervised contact with children need to be given clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.  Currently it is no longer a requirement for all voluntary helpers in school and on educational visits to obtain a DBS clearance.  If you are simply volunteering for the occasional education visit this is not a requirement.  However, if you wish to volunteer on a more regular basis, a DBS will be required.

If you require more information on DBS clearance, or if you wish to volunteer and would need a DBS, then please contact the school office.
